Rășinari

Rasinari is part of the Romanian surroundings villages of Sibiu." At the turn of the centuries, although times were hard, the village has managed to retain its own coloratura, managing to maintain traditions.

One of the residents was occupations resin and picking fir tree that grows on the surrounding peaks. Of here and toponym village, Răşinari. In some old documents is found under different names - Ruethel, Rosinar, Russinair.

Răşinari were born Goga and Emil Cioran two memorable personalities of Romanian and universal literature. Here is buried Metropolitan Andrei Saguna.
