Day Itinerary

1. Starting Point: Bucharest

09:00 from accommodation meet your guide and begin your scenic journey to Tulcea, the starting points for your Danube Delta adventure approximately 3.5 - 4 hours by car ( 280 km)

2. Stop 1: Boat Trip on the Danube Delta

Main Attraction:

• Explore the delta's unique landscapes and wildlife with a focus on scenic areas and cultural aspects:
• Wildlife and Flora: Watch for wildlife, including birds like pelicans, cormorants, and herons, along with lush reed beds and water lilies.
• Local Life: Visit traditional fishing villages, where you can learn about the lifestyle of the inhabitants.
• Fishing Traditions: Learn about the fishing methods that have been used for generations, some of which are still practiced today.

Danube River Channels: Cruise through narrow channels, taking in the tranquil atmosphere of the delta

3. Stop 2: Return to Tulcea 

Main Attractions:

• Danube Delta Museum: Learn about the unique ecosystem, flora, and fauna of the Delta.
• Promenade along the Danube River: Enjoy views of the river and the bustling port where boats depart for Delta tours
• Historical and Cultural Landmarks: Visit St. Nicholas Church and the Independence Monument

4. Return to Bucharest

Depart for Bucharest in the late afternoon for your return trip.
Travel Time: Approximately 3.5 -4 hours (about 250 km).
