The Peasant’s Citadel is situated in Rasnov, Brașov County, in the immediate vicinity of Brașov and is one of the best preserved citadels from Transylvania. The Citadel has a simple structure adapted to the fortification conditions but people can still feel the medieval atmosphere when visiting it. From up top you can have a magnificent panoramic view over the Barsa Land.
