The Venetian House, named after the appearance of the windows was built in the early seventeenth century but the look from today, in Gothic style emerged in the nineteenth century with the renovations of the building. The most important resident of the house was the city mayor, Stephanus Mann, whose tomb can be seen in Church Hill.
