1. Starting Point: Sibiu

2. Bran Castle - The Heart of Dracula’s Realm

     Arrival at Bran Castle around 12:00 PM is famously associated with Vlad the Impaler and Bram Stoker's Dracula. Visitors can tour its medieval chambers, dungeons, and enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. The castle also houses a museum with historical exhibits and furniture from the 14th century.

Main Attraction:

• Vlad the Impaler Connection: Vlad III, also known as Vlad the Impaler or Dracula, was a 15th-century ruler of Wallachia whose brutal methods of ruling inspired Bram Stoker’s famous novel Dracula. Although there is no evidence that Vlad ever lived in or even visited Bran Castle, its association with him has made it a central point for Dracula enthusiasts.
• The Architecture of Bran Castle: originally built in 1377 by King Louis I of Hungary to defend the strategic mountain pass against invading forces. It is an excellent example of medieval military architecture, with high walls, fortified towers, and narrow, winding staircases. The interior features gothic furniture, wooden staircases, and armory, providing an authentic feel of medieval life. Many rooms are decorated with items from Romania's royal past, especially from the period when the castle was a royal residence
• The Courtyard: The castle’s courtyard is a peaceful area surrounded by the fortress walls, with beautiful flower gardens and a small fountain. It’s an ideal spot for photos and to enjoy the picturesque setting

3. Brașov - Kronstadt

       Brașov is one of Romania's most charming and historically rich cities, located in the Transylvanian region, surrounded by the stunning Carpathian Mountains. Known for its medieval architecture, vibrant cultural life, and beautiful natural surroundings, Brașov is a popular destination for both history enthusiasts and nature lovers

Main Attractions:

• Weavers' Bastion: A well-preserved medieval defense structure, originally part of the town’s fortifications.
• Rope Street (Strada Sforii): The narrowest street in Brașov and one of the narrowest in Europe, offering a unique glimpse into the city’s history.
• Brasov Synagogue: The historical synagogue of Brașov, symbolizing the city's Jewish heritage.
• Catholic Church: An architectural gem that showcases the city's medieval influences.
• White Tower and Black Tower: Two medieval watchtowers offering panoramic views of Brașov and its surroundings.
• Black Church (Biserica Neagră): A Gothic-style church built in the 14th century, the Black Church is one of Romania’s most famous landmarks

From 03:30 PM - 05:30 PM: 2-hour Walking City Tour of Brașov
Free time to explore Brașov at your leisure. Wander around the charming Old Town, enjoy local shops, or relax in one of the many cafés 05:30 PM - 06:30 PM:
 

4. Return to Sibiu

·         Distance: The drive from Brașov to Sibiu is approximately 140 km (87 miles).

·         Duration: The journey typically takes around 2.5 to 3 hours by car, depending on traffic and road conditions,about 21:00 o’clock we will be back in Sibiu
